As a lifelong learner of history as well as an enthusiast of Chinese martial arts, I was excited to have the honor of interviewing martial arts instructor, Gary Galvin. Galvin earned the prestigious Orange Sash directly from Master Willem Reeders in the 1960s and 70s. Master Reeders is notable for being one of Bruce Lee’s teachers and a WWII veteran.
